OVI

In the simplest of terms, the offense known as operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) occurs when someone is accused of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs of abuse, or a combination of both, or at or over the per say limit. OVI used to be called “DUI” or “DWI”.

Our experience has given us the skills needed to defend OVI cases. We will take an in-depth look at the investigation, including the Standard Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs) and any chemical test given by the officer to determine your Blood Alcohol Content (B.A.C.). After a thorough review, we will determine what your best defenses are to the charges based on your particular circumstances. Additionally, we will also defend you in the Administrative License Suspension (ALS). These administrative hearings are time sensitive (you only have a limited time to appeal the ALS) so we urge you to call us immediately if you are facing these charges.
