David has a particular concentration in the area of Ohio OVI law and Drug Possession/Trafficking. David has handled a high volume of cases in these areas of the law throughout his career.
David has successfully handled wrongful death claims and serious injury accidents involving commercial trucks, motorcycles, and passenger vehicles. David was involved in negotiating the largest settlement in the history of the MBMMW law firm for his client that was seriously injured as the result of a semi-truck accident.
David has successfully represented clients for divorce, dissolution, child custody and child support. David has extensive knowledge of family law cases in Ohio and always strives to achieve the best possible outcome for each individual situation.
David co-owns Premier Title & Closing Services, LLC which provides services such as title searches, title insurance, document preparation, closings, and escrow. David and his partner also handle most legal matters pertaining to real estate.
David grew up in Zanesville, Ohio and graduated from Zanesville High School in 1994. Enrolling at Ohio Northern University, David majored in Political Science and minored in Criminal Justice.
David graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. David returned to Zanesville for one year and worked as an adult probation officer with the Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. David became very familiar with how the criminal court system worked during this period of time. David returned to Ohio Northern University where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in Law in 2002. David again returned to Zanesville after passing the bar exam and became an associate with the law firm of Micheli, Baldwin & Northrup LLP. Approximately a year after joining the law firm, David became a partner because of his hard work and success.
David is a current member and past president of the Muskingum County Bar Association and a current member of the Ohio State Bar Association. David is the current treasurer of the Zanesville Ducks Unlimited Chapter, a current social member of the VFW Post 1058 and a member of the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce. David was a longtime board member and two-time past president of the Zanesville Jaycees and a past member of the Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, Frazeysburg Lodge #490.
When not working, David enjoys hunting, trail riding in his ATV, watching football, and spending time with family and friends.
